Fairy tales are one of the oldest cultural symbols of our countries. We would like to promote the search for those ancient cultural roots, which are common for all the people all around the world.
Even though, it is well understood that it is impossible to read every book out there, thus an idea occurred, to collect as many fairy-tales from as many different countries as possible into one virtual space, so not only our children but we, adults, could enjoy them as well.
UNESCO signed the Convention on the protection of intangible cultural heritage" at its 32nd General Conference on 17 October 2003. According to this contract, verbal expressions and oral traditions, practices related to the universe and nature are defined as rituals as intangible cultural heritage.With this definition, fairy tales, which are one of the cultural heritage products, can be evaluated from a broad perspective that reaches the axis of inter-communal understanding agreement from the intra community agreement
